My stay at Helvetia & Bristol was truly nice. The location was perfect, just a short walk from all the main attractions and shopping areas. The room was large and beautifully appointed, although the decor was a bit dated for my taste. While I loved the attentiveness of the staff, I did experience a minor issue with the morning cigarette smell in my room, but it didn't overshadow the really good hospitality I received throughout my stay.

My room was spacious and beautifully designed, though I noticed some aspects of the decor felt a bit old-fashioned.

Breakfast was good but could use a bit more variety to match the high standards of the hotel, even though the quality of the dishes was commendable.
Facilities

The hotel offered a range of facilities, though I didn't have the chance to explore the spa and other amenities thoroughly.

My stay at Helvetia&Bristol Firenze was a mix of elegance and a few disappointments. The location was perfect for exploring Florence, and the breakfast was quite good, but my initial room left a lot to be desired, being outdated and dark. Fortunately, after addressing my concerns, I was upgraded to a lovely suite which truly reflected the luxury of the hotel.

Breakfast was a highlight. it offered a generous selection of fresh pastries and local products, although I did wish for more variety on some days.

6.2/10

My recent four-night stay at Helvetia&Bristol Firenze was marked by classic charm and high service standards, though not without a few hiccups. The rooms were elegantly renovated, but the breakfast experience could see some improvements. Wi-Fi issues detracted from my experience, and the concierges didn't impress me with their efficiency. Still, the location is unbeatable for sightseeing! 🌟

Rooms
8.0
The renovated rooms were comfortable and clean, featuring marble bathrooms and modern amenities, though I did experience some noise from neighboring rooms.
Service
7.0
While most staff were friendly and attentive, especially in the dining area, I found the concierge service lacking as they failed to assist with a restaurant reservation properly.
Location
10.0
Being steps away from the Piazza Della Repubblica made exploring Florence's landmarks incredibly convenient, which was a major highlight.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast area was beautiful, but the breakfast itself was somewhat lacking in variety and quality, which was disappointing given the hotel's overall standard.
Facilities
5.0
While there are modern amenities, I struggled with the unstable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, which was frustrating.

7.4/10

I had a recently upgraded suite during my stay, but to my disappointment, the view was just a wall. The hotel’s location near Piazza Della Repubblica was perfect for exploring Florence. While I appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable marble bathroom with a jacuzzi, staff service, especially at breakfast, could have been more welcoming. The construction noise was also a downside, impacting the overall experience. 😕

Rooms
8.0
The suite was clean and beautifully presented, but the view was disappointing with just a wall outside.
Service
5.0
The concierge service was below expectations, lacking the warmth and helpfulness I anticipated, and the staff at breakfast could be quite grumpy.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a major highlight, allowing easy access to central Florence, perfect for sightseeing.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was the weakest point, with limited options and not very welcoming staff. I expected more for a hotel of this stature.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent but marred by ongoing construction, making for a less than peaceful environment.

I had an really good stay at Helvetia&Bristol Firenze. The staff really went out of their way to take care of me, especially when I got sick on my last night. The location is perfect, putting me right in the heart of Florence. However, I did notice that the dining experience could use some improvement, especially during peak hours.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and comfortable with stunning decor that matched the hotel's historic charm. I loved the fresh flowers and chocolates waiting for me upon arrival. The only downside was the absence of a full-length mirror which I found a bit odd for such a nice place.
Service
10.0
The customer service at this hotel is great! The management team was super helpful with reservations and even upgraded me to a suite. They called a doctor for me when I fell ill and checked in on me several times. It really made a difference.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't be more convenient! It's close to all the major attractions, shopping, and restaurants — making it easy to explore Florence on foot.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was good with plenty of local options, though I did find that one morning it didn't quite live up to the standard I expected. The main restaurant was closed for two nights of my stay, and the service during peak hours was less than stellar.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel didn't offer a pool or gym, the bar area was lovely and perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Room service was reliable, but I didn't take advantage of many other amenities during my short stay.
